African Union Day 2025

Annual African Union Day celebration

Our school proudly celebrated AU (African Union) Day with a vibrant and educational program held on the school premises. The event aimed to honor Africa’s rich history, diverse cultures, and the spirit of unity among African nations, while also educating students on the importance and objectives of the African Union.

The program began with a special assembly where students presented a brief history of the African Union, highlighting its formation in 2001 and its mission to promote peace, solidarity, and sustainable development across the continent. This was followed by a colorful display of traditional attire representing various African countries, showcasing the continent’s diversity and cultural richness.

A key highlight of the event was a student-led cultural exhibition featuring music, dance, poetry, and drama performances that reflected Africa’s heritage and resilience. The school’s art and social studies departments collaborated to create interactive displays and presentations on African leaders, historical milestones, and continental challenges and successes.

The AU Day program was not just a celebration, but a meaningful learning experience that encouraged pride in African identity and inspired students to think globally while acting locally.

We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to making this day a memorable one. As a school, we remain dedicated to nurturing globally aware citizens who appreciate their roots and contribute positively to society.
