Primary

The Primary department contains a maximum of 35 learners per class. They are supervised by qualified professional teachers. The NACCA Standard based curriculum  is used.
In the primary department the following subjects are taught:

• English Language: – Aspects (Reading and Comprehension, Grammar, Composition, Oral language and Spellings, Literature, Library)
• Mathematics
• Science
• Our World Our People (OWOP)
• Creative Arts and Design
• History of Ghana
• Computing
• Physical & Health Education
• Ghanaian Language (Dagbani option)
• French
• Religious & Moral Education

We are however guided by strict concept and principles of holistic education in our primary department. The concept at this level, aims at equipping the learners with a complete well-rounded academic education with extra guidance in good leadership beyond Abe Halperin School and development of desired competencies.

One of our unique features, a small class size, ensures that our trained facilitators are attentive to the needs of each child. This promotes understanding of new concept and improves proficiency in new skills.
