- Eligibility – An applicants must pass the entrance exams and pay the admission fees in full.

- N1 and Creche Curriculum – At the Preschool, the school combined the Montessori approach with jolly phonics to get a standard curriculum which builds the foundation for the KG.

- Classroom management – The school adopted the Positive Disciplinary Approach and its tools in creating a learning environment and maintaining good class control.
- Technology integration – Abe Halperin school makes good use of classroom overhead projectors, tablets, internet and ther use ICT tools in our lessons.
- Library, Laboratories and Resources
- Utilization – learners read books at the schedule class periods and also at break time.
- Borrowing – learners borrow books from the library, read and return them on specified dates.
- Research plan and assistance – All our staff are assisted to acquired smart devices for research. Wi-Fi and data packages are made available to them to keep up with research and technology.
- Digitization plans – We envisage mounting smart boards in our classrooms as well sending online assignments.
- Monitoring strategies – The school monitor the work of facilitators through, clinical supervision, work inspection and random checks. Lesson planning and classroom interactions are also monitored through class visit or the CCTV installations.
- Assessment and Evaluation
- Types – We assess our learners in daily assignments, mid-term tests and end of term/year assessments.
- Grading system – our grading system are higher than the standard system. This is to discourage complacency.
- Methods of assessment – Abe Halperin uses both the formative, summative assessments with emphasis on project based, diagnostic, self-assessment and aptitude tests.
- End term exam format – a mixture of multiples choice questions, fill in the blanks, unrestricted answers, puzzles and pictorial question. These questions vary from subject to subject.
- Progress report -Report on the academic progress of learners are made available to parents in both hard-copy and soft-copies.
- Feedback giving (parent teacher conferences).
- Promotion and repetition
- Promotion criteria – learners who fail in two core subject and two other subjects are recommended for repetition.
- Requirement for graduation – Good performance in the End of first, second and third mid-term exams.
- Remedial support – slow learners are given additional support to catch up with their colleagues.
- Acceleration option for gifted learners – Additional board are provided in each class to engage the gifted ones with extra task whilst attending to the slow learners.
- Jumping to write BECE – This is against the rules of the school and culprits are out-rightly dismissed from the school.
- Absence from school
- Make up works for learners – Facilitators make conscious effort to provide support in all areas the learner(s) missed.
- Parental support – Parents are advised to provide some activities to engage learners while they are away from school. Additional home tuition for the learners to catch up has always been helpful.

- Cheating / malpractice – All forms of cheating are punishable in the school. Learners are trained to be independent and stick to the values of the school.
- Teacher dishonesty and consequences – This attracts sanction per the code of conduct of staff of the school.
